• ivy is confirmed not to be lucy's familiar, claiming to be rothart's. but since rothart is also confirmed as a peacock husk, this must also be untrue. rothart uses ivy as something like a heat sink for the excess magic he's generating. rothart is not nearly as old as he appears to be. ivy has some sort of connection to a white frog familiar named piper.
• rothart and lucy are connected to the event that supposedly killed dr. malliet and morgan. lucy doesn't remember who they were at the time of the event, or what happened, but rothart does.
• husks feel a strong connection bordering on obsession with the animal their familiar would be or was.
• january has been receiving close attention from fidelia all week. philomena holds championship titles in several strength based sports from before her magic came in. 
• tetsu and broom girl are dating! and are anti-government! down with the magistration!
